The local shop most exposed to theft
Tobacco shops are among the retail businesses most exposed to theft in France. High-value products, easy access, long opening hours and a tobacconist who is often alone: the risk is daily. Losses from the theft of tobacco, lottery products and accessories can reach several thousand euros per month.
Identified risks
- Shoplifting of cigarette packs and smoking accessories
- Cigarette cartons or scratch cards slipped into a bag or pocket
- Fall detection for the tobacconist (loss of verticality behind the counter)
- Theft of e-cigarettes and refills (concealment in a bag)
Benefits at the counter
Fewer thefts of sensitive products, more peace of mind every day for your team.
Protection suited to small stores
A tobacco shop is rarely larger than 40 m². But it is precisely this proximity that makes AI protection so effective: every movement is captured, and every at-risk gesture is analysed in real time.
Critical zones

- Lottery and games display: scratch cards and tickets within easy reach
- E-cigarette aisle: high-value products with open access
- Store entrance: recognition of incoming bags and security alerts
- Press area: magazines, newspapers, accessories
Key features

- Silent alert on the tobacconist's mobile, tablet or computer
