What we are asked before getting started
Do I need to replace my cameras?
No. Oxania works with the IP cameras already installed in your store, whatever the brand in most cases. Your integrator checks compatibility during the preliminary audit.
How long does it take to be operational?
Generally less than a day: connection, calibration of the sensitive zones, then commissioning. Our integrator partners and our teams handle it together, from the first audit through to handover to your staff.
Who decides when there is an alert?
You stay in control at every step. The AI does the thankless work: it watches continuously and sends you the video clip at the right moment, with the context to judge in a few seconds. It is up to you to choose what happens next, according to your rules and your knowledge of the field. Our partners and our teams help you set these rules with you: which zones, which time slots, who receives what, and how your staff react on site.
Where are the videos stored?
The video feeds from your cameras stay on your installation, in your store. Only clips linked to an alert leave the site: they are kept for a limited time, on servers located as close as possible to your country. All communications are encrypted and your data remains under your control.
Does my AI identify my customers?
No. No facial recognition, no database of individuals, and no matching between two visits by the same customer. The AI analyses what happens in the aisle, not who is there.
